City delays the Stoney Creek arena decision again
The twin-pad has been in the capital plan since 2018. Staff now say a site decision comes with the 2027 budget.

A decision on the Stoney Creek twin-pad arena has been pushed to the 2027 budget cycle, the fourth delay since the project entered the capital plan in 2018.
The estimate has risen from $38 million to $61 million over that period. Minor hockey associations told the Lookout they are renting ice in three municipalities.
